Believe it
or not, it’s not that long until the holiday season. This is always a very
exciting and busy time for the music ministry of
FBC. This year there will be two very special
programs.
The
worship choir will have a Christmas Cantata Kick-off Party” on Friday,
September 10th at 6:00pm in the FLC. If
you are interested in joining with the choir as preparations are
made for this year’s program, let me encourage you to attend this special
event. This will be a wonderful time of
fellowship, food, and a preview of the music.
This year’s
Christmas program features, “A Thrill of Hope” which is a beautiful
musical celebrating the gifts of hope,
love, peace, and joy. Additional music celebrates the season
and offers the invitation to experience a deeper relationship with Christ.
The
Children’s choir will begin working on “The Christmas Story” on
Wednesday, September 8th at 7:00pm. All
children are encouraged to attend and experience the joy
which comes from singing the songs of Christmas This musical is focused on The
Christmas Story
and will help your children to focus on the true meaning of Christmas.
